Wh.1 - Reflection on Previous I Search Experiences (due Mon. April 7)
1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
We have done the labyrinth research, as well as the presidential caucasses. We each got a candidate and researched them. We also made bills for youth legislature.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Research to me means gathering information about a topic that you don't know that much about.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
The presidential project was really fun and interesting. I got a pretty good grade on it, and it helped my research skills. 2 - Reflection on Webbing Process (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because: I think this webbing process helped me become a better researcher. This showed me to choose my topic carefully and to make sure there was enough information on the topics. 3 - Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic (due Tuesday, April 8)
1. Topic: Egyptian rulers (kings, pharaohs...)
2. Why you chose it: I'm really interested in Egyptian stuff. I enjoyed doing our unit on these things.

1. Describe how the pre-note taking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?
The pre -note sheet helped me focus on my topic and help me figure out exactly what I wanted to do. It also help me categorize my skinny questions. Once I started making a list of questions I thought it was easy to think of a fat question. 6 - Search Log (due Thursday, April 10)
1. What have I learned today?
Today I learned information on my topic. I also learned that each dynasties was ruled by a family, and much more
2. What problems have I had?
All the information overwhelmed me. Also I didn't get too many note cards done, and I'm worrying about time management.

I will try to use by time more wisely and try not to get frustrated.
4. What will I do next?
I will continue my research and continue making note cards.

1. What have I learned today?
Today I learned more about the New kingdom in Egypt. I learned that it was from 18th - 20th dynasty. Also that in the new kingdom they first began calling their kings pharaohs. Another thing that I learned is that king tut and Hatshepsutruled during this kingdom.
2. What problems have I had?
Today I did not have any problems, but I still need to manage my time more wisely.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?
I will focus tomorrow in class.

How did the Art and Architecture affect the history within the new kingdom?
